It does not appear to be magnetic at all, so the question arises; did the original builders choose the grey granite on purpose for its magnetic properties, or was this just a fluke? There are two particular blocks at Puma Punku that I have always thought clearly showed exactly how a H block was used or positioned in the original building which stood on the Puma Punku site.

Over the past couple of years quite a few members have asked me to do a thread on Tiahuanaco [Tiwanaku] I've resisted the idea up till now for a few reasons.

Everything was cast using reconstituted Andesite concrete.

If accurate, it would mean that the Tiwanaku culture possessed of cultures that came later in history.

This calculation comes from archeologist Hugo Boero Rojo, who calculated the depth of the structures found means that this area of Lake Titicaca was above water level at some time in the past.
